Meet the heart and soul behind Aaradhy — Sapna Nandani, Gold Medalist, dedicated teacher, and keeper of the Kathak tradition.
Gold Medalist, M.S. University Vadodara
Founder & Artistic Director, Aaradhy School of Kathak
Sapna Nandani is a passionate Kathak dancer, choreographer, and educator whose journey with this classical art form began in childhood. A Gold Medalist from the Faculty of Performing Arts, M.S. University Vadodara, she brings both academic rigour and lived artistry to every class she teaches.
Her deep love for Kathak goes beyond technique — for Sapna, it is a sacred language of storytelling, devotion, and expression passed down through generations. She founded Aaradhy School of Kathak with a single vision: to make authentic Kathak accessible to every student willing to learn, regardless of age or prior experience.
Over her years of teaching in Vadodara, Sapna has guided hundreds of students — from young children discovering the joy of movement for the first time, to adults seeking artistic depth and stage performance. Her teaching approach balances rigorous classical training with personal encouragement, nurturing both the body and the spirit of each student.

"Kathak is not steps and patterns — it is a living conversation between the dancer, the music, and the audience. My role as a teacher is to help each student find their own voice within this ancient tradition."
